University Business Centre

Leeds Beckett University were delighted to open the doors to their new University Business Centre based at Piece Mill (next to the Piece Hall) in Halifax in April this year.

The Centre will provide a focal point for University Enterprise expertise in the Calderdale region, connecting the University with local businesses and ultimately helping to boost the economy in Halifax and beyond.

Piece Mill will eventually be home to over 100 businesses. The newly renovated building features open plan, affordable office space, (from co-working through to larger private offices), along with access professional business lounges and meeting facilities. Businesses located in the Centre can also access expert support, training, advice and mentoring to help fuel their business growth.

The University Business Centre will also host an extensive programme of events, including regular digital themed breakfasts, innovation networks and co working taster days along with training programmes open to early stage and growing businesses in the region.  Whether you are looking to explore new markets, develop your product or boost business growth, The University Business Centre – Halifax can help.
