Small Business Saturday

Saturday 5th December is Small Business Saturday, which aims to raise awareness of independent businesses throughout the UK and encourage more customers to buy local. The campaign is now in its third year and each year it is growing in popularity and success and helping local businesses to attract more custom, not just on the day itself but throughout the year.

Small Business Saturday 2014 was a runaway success – 16.5 million people shopped in a small independent business on the day, representing a 20% increase in footfall on 2013 or 2.7 million more shoppers and 64% of UK consumers were aware of the day, a 33% increase on 2013.
